Agricultural Produce




Crops

Primarily, rice is the number one produce in the province with an average harvest of 70,000 m.t. per year. Other major crops are sweet potato, cassava, corn, peanut, string beans, squash and tomato.

Fruits

Bataan is one of the producers of mango, banana, watermelon and coconut in Central Luzon. Coffee, papaya, cashew nuts and calamansi also thrive in the province.

Livestock and Poultry

Livestock and poultry are also a major source of livelihood. These are carabao, cattle, swine, goat, chicken, ducks and quail.
